So it sounds like it’s some hex ‘investors’ that have sponsored to try and increase the number of investors into the coin ? Not actually the ‘company’ itself - that does sound very much like pyramid selling? Existing investors recruit new investors?
There are trillions of pounds, dollars in crypto are we saying all those governments large institutions, banks ect are wrong? I'm sure someone on here will know better than millions of people across the world
Random note taking…… They were approached by Brent with the idea, had seen Hex.com on Premier League advertising, and thought what a great way to get the brand out there. Massively complimentary of the club, the passion, the community. First comment is around the design of the shirt. They agree with us that it doesn’t pop, too big, needed a white outline, gradient doesn’t work. But avoided an all white logo as they didn’t want to dilute the brand. Tried to suggest changing the design but already gone to print. Aware of the scam articles. They know it’s the first thing you see. But they’ve been round the houses on that and demythed the confusion, but is normal for them as been dealing with it for two and a half years. Good to come out now so it can be tackled and overcome. They think a barrier is people assume they’ve joined to shill HEX but that’s not the objective and that’s not what they do. They want to get on our journey, want people to look past that it’s scammers as it’s actually people, come together to do good for both communities. Think a lot of things taken out of context. Some tweets dug up that in isolation look worse than they are. Would prefer a conversation to explain and discuss things rather than outrage marketing of getting angry at each other. Keen to get some of their local ‘Hexicans’ to go to games, get jerseys, be positive on Twitter. Feel like there’s a lot of synergies. Most of their community are from working class towns and background. The community donated £200 to the food bank cause at the weekend. Long conversation about it not being a Ponzi scheme and it being two years plus in the making. Acknowledge they need to get their community to change any negative tweeting or communication. Trying to dissect the club and understand the club based on online descriptions, the club badge, and how they can support any special aspect that we’ve struggled with in a respectful and honest way. Want to be genuine. Want to help. No yelling at each other. No name calling. Definitely going to be an uptake in merch. They’re super passionate about been involved, want to do good, asking each other what else they can do to support us. 10% of the HEX community will generate £1.5m for the club Who is funding the collaboration? Community deal led by Brent, with Yashdeep investing a small amount, and Kuqi Couture (this is the one with abhorrent Twitter timeline. One of the tweet accusations was a reference to a rainbow person, but the context on that is that the person had rainbow coloured hair. Important context is allowed to be explained calmly. Kuqi Couture was in the chat. I pushed and pushed for a response on his Twitter feed. Was told his Twitter feed was taken out of context, others replied with free speech, I tried to explain that with sponsorship comes responsibility and said I’m happy to speak to them separately on e-mail or a collaborative call. Disclaimer - these aren’t my opinions. I was typing notes from a live video stream.
So it's just 3 prominent community members that own the coin that have put the money in for the sponsorship.
His three stints as a Company Director were less than successful. The irony of Digital Currency Awareness Ltd is not lost
Wots all the fuss about? If they contributed money to bfc good. Because no ****** else wants to. I'm sure by now with interest and investment the crynes are worth more than 100 million minimum. Since Patrick sold isoft many years ago. And I'm sure neerav and rest have a million or two in the bank at least. We should be a top club in league one
Thanks for that. Started watching when you publicised it. It doesn't seem a particularly professional approach and I'm surprised a "professional" organisation such as BFC has got involved. Perhaps shows the level of our desperation and personally I feel the charity sponsorship route would have been a better one to go down. However we are where we are. This Kuqi Couture character is an issue and that's where strong specific, waffle free answers are required. If they are alleging out of context, then let's see the context, tbh I can't imagine one that could put those tweets in a good light. Some of them are trying to improve their first impression, but it's a mess we shouldn't have needed to get out of.
Agree with you on pretty much all of that. All I will say is that was pretty professional for the crypto community. As a ‘brand’ or community that exists online, that’s how things are done and hits expectations. Obviously not what we’re used to or how we would do things. But only 100 viewers so you’re not talking mass reach.
We could have guessed hours ago that their response would be it's been taken out of context. What a surprise they said that.
This Kuqi Couture bloke is appalling. His philosophy is totally abhorrent to me - pro trump - pro russia - homophobic - transphobic - climate denier - covid denier - anti vax for us to be associated with him directly, is shameful and embarrassing. completely untenable.
I think they spoke well, seemed genuine, especially him on the left. They do seem really interested and want to do more for the community etc. Whether or not it is actually genuine, I obviously don't know. I've come across a few very decent 'hexigans' on twitter, but it's drowned out by dozens of robotic accounts droning on, not really communicating well and did appear just to shill for Hex and make light of our concerns. Would love to see @Loko the Tyke on a video call with Yashdeep (already forgot if this is his name, apologies!) and speak freely and openly and see if a compromise can happen?
Watched the stream. This is what I took from it… The first 20 mins of it was the three of em (I say three, the guy called Max wearing glasses barely spoke but was very proactive in chat) were basically saying why people/Barnsley fans should invest in Hex. One of em claimed he joined Hex with $300 to his name and now he’s well off, okay then. Have I ever mentioned I used to be a stand in for John Holmes in the mid 80’s? They literally kept referring to themselves as ‘Hexicans’, creepy af. Defo not a cult though. Apparently calling someone a ‘f@g’ is okay as long as you don’t mean it in a homophobic way. Wtaf? The Max guy I referred to earlier in chat he kept going on about freedom of speech like a typical alt-right Trumper. I haven’t changed my mind on these lot and the stream if anything showed them to look very amateurish in terms of being businessmen.
