I only picked up on the various threads very recently and I have to admit that I don't have a single clue what the flip this is all about.
Can somebody PLEASE explain in simple terms what is going on. I feel it is something important but when you know nothing about it you may as well be talking Greek and writing Russian ...
I'd like to try to understand, at least try.

No. It's unfair to expect everyone else to have to wade through never ending posts at the expense of their own time, just to provide a bone idle you with a condensed version of our interaction with the planet Hex.

    Get your scrolling finger dirty.

The man who started Hex and the two men who got Hex put on our kits all have done inappropriate social media posts going back years that are very offensive.

It's a pyramid scheme simply put.

The genius in this is you purchase hex using a different crypto, so the original benefactor receives millions in the other crypto. When everyone realises it's a scam, he's got millions in an another crypto he can still sell.

As each layer of investors are added, they themselves become the promotors because they can't sell the hex unless the nest level of investors arrive.

So point one... He's a multi millionaire and probably soon to be billionaire. Everyone else is out for themseleves.

As part of promoting it when you join, you need to firefight claims of scam, promote, debunk the theory. Even do "good deeds" sponsor the **** out of it.

Everyone jumping in, has resulted in some representatives coming out with unsavoury (and historic) tweets offending LBGT and anyone.

The club made aware via the ST, the club issues a blanket holdong statement via the ST and now stuck the same one on the main site. (Without warning the ST)

Basically this is EastEnders type ****. And the club look absolute wrong uns for taking them on....

    This cover it?

    - Three guys got together to sponsor us and asked for Hex.com (sort of owned by another guy - it's complicated) to be put on our shirts.
    - One of those guys called someone a f*g, another one's Twitter profile is absolute full of right wing nut job stuff including homophobic content. The sort of owner pretended to be gay on Twitter as an April Fool's joke and also used the word gay as an insult in another tweet.
    - Rainbow Reds posted an open letter to the club about the homophobic content and the right wing guy just posted 'hi' in reply and someone else posted BFC's equality policy and he posted 'where's my equality policy?'
    - Hex itself is a big ponzi scheme, or at least a multi level marketing scheme at best. It has a big cult following that jumps on anyone who slightly criticises HEX and starts arguing within them and saying how absolutely wonderful Hex is yadda yadda. They need more suckers to invest to make them money or they lose everything.
    - The logo itself is massive, ugly and almost certainly breaks rules around sizing.
    - The club has taken days to put out a statement and the one they have makes no reference whatsoever to the sponsors and makes it sound like our own fans are being homophobic.

    I think that's about it.

Well done! Covers most of it within 10 minutes. Why are the club still faffing 48 hours later?

Hex is something to do with or is crypto currency . The apparent main guy Richard Heart ( not his real name ) is a bit of a braggart and claims you can become super rich if you buy into Hex . He and his mates on twitter have made some homophobic comments in the past . His followers are trying to get BFC fans to invest . He looks a bit of an arsehole to say the least

Oh and hart isn't his real name apparently. It was changed as his previous name was littered with lawsuits for spam

How can you come to that conclusion when all it mentions is "discriminatory and abusive posts circulating on social media"?

As it doesn't mention anything whatsoever about who those posts are by, how can anyone come to the conclusion that it is by anyone other than our fans?

I am on about your homophobia claim. Your the one who mentions homophobia not the club in that statement.

Rightly she is pointing out that such a vague statement put out by the club, any onlookers (If they don't look for the detail behind it) will likely assume it's our fanbase this is a result of

The comments that prompted the statement are homophobic ones.

As an onlooker (without looking at the detail behind it) you may think our fans are involved but its a big jump to assume that our fans are homophobic when there is no mention of that in the statement. I cant see how anybody who as not followed twitter etc would come to that conclusion.

You're being weirdly picky. Ok then, people would think it is our own fans being discriminatory and abusive and they can be free to imagine what sort of discrimination and abuse our fans might be partaking in. Better?

Do you know that for a fact, if so I can see why you may have come to that conclusion. The club haven't clarified yet what they meant by discriminatory and abusive which can be quite wide ranging. This statement does not lead me to automatically think that our fans can be homophobic. Like many I will have my own view on that based on past experiences but that statement certainly does not make me think what you intimated

Of course I know the homophobic tweets the sponsor made are homophobic.
