Totally. It's why I don't want to write cole off just yet. And on tonight's evidence, maybe, just maybe he's got it too. What a difference it makes with a manager that demands effort, and knows what he's doing. Hopefully a sign of things to come, if he manages to get some additional support and incoming players.... But we can't expect that right now I don't think. Styles also looked a little more like himself as well tonight.
I said before the start of the season that I think he’ll come good this year. Don’t underestimate the drop in division but also confidence from Duff too. 10 goals this season would be lovely. Keep it up Josh.

Yep, playing with instructions,belief and now confidence makes a massive difference, just proves how we need to get behind players and give them a fair crack at it before writing them off. I'm hoping more players can come good under the same circumstances.
Playing at a lower level his undoubted ability is showing. Still loses the ball too easily and would imo struggle in the League above. But he’s a young lad with lots of development still in him so don’t want that to sound overly harsh.
It's been a bug bear of mine for a while now that we sign players on long deals and then write em off after a poor start, we really need to give players at least a season of regular games before we write them off. Confidence and belief is so important, hopefully having a smaller squad means that it's onwards and upwards for a lot of our written off players.
Different coach, different hierarchy, different attitudes. Nobody is looking over their shoulders any more expecting to find Conway lurking in the shadows waiting to interfere and **** things up.
Quality today. I was more pleased with his effort and work rate than anything else. Even at 3-0 up he was all over the pitch, winning back the ball. Not what I expected from his appearances last season.
Done well so far... carry on like that Josh and you'll be gone in January to a club lower in the league for an undisclosed fee.
Superb display from start to finish, shows what a bit of confidence can do. We need a better chant for him though.
