I agree with Fi @fired , it's not the most intuitive site. At first glance you'd think we have an event in the car park as Saturdays entertainment. Yes, I realise clicking on "view all events" will give me the info I am looking for, but personally I'd want the main event screaming at me from the main landing page.

Surprised today it cost £1 to order a collect from box office for Leeds tickets. I went down and picked up. Didn’t need to use up time of staff to log on etc yet by doing that it would have been free. Just feels odd. I get the charge for postage (now £2 not £1 by the way).

Definitely different on desktop vs. mobile. Everything is where you’d expect it on desktop, in multiple different parts of the website.

There’s an extra click needed on mobile to open up all events. Worth noting it’s a TicketMaster issue once you get to e-ticketing rather than the club.

Pop ups on official site EFL fault. Eticketing in wrong order Ticketmaster fault. I would suggest our club take some responsibility for their own websites.

In the same regard you could politely ask that supporters show a bit more patience and leniency on aspects the club don't have 100% ownership of? Nobody has absolved responsibility, just explained how things work. Change requests have to go to those third parties, who then decide how quickly they'll action them.

The user experience could be improved slightly for mobile, but it isn't difficult to buy a ticket. Feels like a mountain out of a molehill this thread.

Took me all of 2 minutes to buy a ticket for a friend for Wycombe game yesterday and same to buy a leeds ticket for myself this morning. Not exactly the hardest site to navigate. Just think for some the club can’t do no right.

I'm not saying it is a club issue at all, but it is a marketing page, and as such should be screaming 'ROLL UP, ROLL UP, GET YER BARNSLEY V WYCOMBE TICKETS HERE'.

The screenshot by the way is from Chrome / Windows Desktop.

EDIT: Site looks same to me whether:
    Desktop or mobile.

All I can see on the website, on both mobile and desktop, is a massive banner telling me to buy Wycombe tickets. You literally can't miss it. On desktop wherever I click I get taken to buying Wycombe tickets, with so many different ways to get there, but on mobile it does show the car park ticket first until I expand to all events - which is a bit needless and could be improved.

I never inferred you said it was a club issue. Was just making people aware who would be reading this thread and might not know.

I get you - wasn't inferring you had inferred :) Seems bizarre though the different experience. Gonna try from new work lappie - tied down to MS Edge .... never logged on before, so see what a 'fresh' navigation renders.

Same from the good old US of A. New browser.

A 2-page 'top' banner - one blank, one with a Barry Murphy pic.
And a 'bottom' banner starting with Wycombe Car Park tickets.

I stress these are browser results, I'm not aware of any 'app' for the ticketing site.

Not sure what to say. I go to the Barnsley FC home page. I click tickets from the drop down box. I click 'buy home tickets'. I'm taken to the 'find tickets' option. I'm then given the chance to buy tickets.

If I decide to click the massive banner on the home page, and I'm already logged in to my ticketing account, I get taken straight to the ticketing map.

If I go the long way round and click fixtures, then buy tickets from the 'club vs. club' screen, I do have to expand the events so that tickets come up with the car park option. But again, just one click, and that isn't the natural route a supporter would go.

I'm not sure how it could be made simpler than that to be honest. I don't need tickets for the weekend, I'm just testing the different websites and browsers so I can ask the club to make it easier for supporters - but other than some minor improvements it feels very easy already.

    Right Ben, sorry, multi-tasking.
I think it is just down to hyperlink management.

    Most fans will bookmark www.barnsleyfc.co.uk
Along the top of that, we see the 'Tickets' link:
    upload_2022-8-18_15-14-23.png

The 'Buy Home Tickets' link is great. Takes you to the Wycombe match in all it's glory.
The 'Box Office' link takes you to a basic eticketing.co.uk/barnsleyfc/ generic page, and THAT is the landing page that makes you think that Wycombe Car Park tickets are the main event.

In my case, it is the Box Office page I have bookmarked, (eticketing.co.uk/barnsleyfc/) which is why I always have to browse to the 'view all event' sub link to find my match.

So for @fired etc ........ friendly advice would be to click the 'Buy Home Tickets' link in the graphic to get straight to the next home match without having to navigate.

Yes, it does seem a bit easier now (aside from the site initially thinking I was a “bot”)

Pre Cheltenham it just wasn’t working at all - my eldest had same problem.

Taking a few weeks off now for various reasons. Will report back when i next try to buy a ticket!

For the first time ever I've had no joy with the online ticketing. Tried with 2 different browsers. Will pay on the gate this time, but there clearly is a problem.
