Is it nice to say that when Jordan Williams next plays he will be a lot better than today? (cos he could never again play as badly as he did today)
That's the spirit. Look on the bright side You're right of course, that was the worst I've ever seen him play.how he stayed on I'll never know. The only good thing I can say about him is it looked like a lack of ability rather than a lack of effort.
I agree and would like to add in his defence that normal situations he would have been subbed because nothing he did came off . But unfortunately Duff was in a quandary imo does he take a player off that’s playing rubbish or take the ones with the attitude of not going anywhere near the ball snd hiding and leaving it to others ?
I'm not sure your assessment of Jordan will send him to sleep with a contented grin on his face. He 's promising though when he's doing his own impersonation of the Benny Hill end credits - running about fast into the distance for no particular purpose. I thought he was our prize asset too. Like the rest of them, he's too inconsistent. Mads Kitching and Cole weren't terrible today.
I can only think that some of the players were going straight out for the evening after the game and that’s the only shirt they had for both events .
Definitely not the five we are able to Call on , meaningful Competition for places seems to be our downfall imo .
Well I don’t think their was a lack of effort today, it was certainly an all round poor team performance. The naivety, lack of nous, was in abundance all over the pitch. They came knowing that if they kept Thomas and Benson quiet, then we would have to go long. They old-manned us nearly all the game. I don’t think Duff had an answer today and was out- thought and out-coached by his Wycombe counter-part.
Wycombe have better players than us .. front to back. Question.. how do they sign players like Mawson and Scowan on crowds half ours?
