    Yes those are the fights I'd like to see too. Have to see if Fury wants to fight Usyk as the money will be a lot less than was on offer for fighting AJ. In the meantime we're likely going to have to listen the usual contradictory nonsense from Fury. How he doesn't care about the money but wants half a billion that he'll probably "give away" to the homeless.
    Great to watch in the ring but starting to get very tiresome out if it.
    Was also ironic to hear Eddie Hearn say he would like to see Joshua become more active. After essentially deciding he only needed to fight once a year.

    Think you jumped in too quickly on this one. Fury Whyte was definitely the fight to make when Undisputed wasn’t happening. I’m talking about in light of how the press went, the legal challenge against the WBC, the bizarre training camp, etc. Absolutely in hindsight, but not because Whyte wasn’t good enough to fight Fury or didn’t deserve it.

    There is only 1 fight for AJ and thats Wilder also that's the only fight for Wilder.
    Usyk Fury has to happen then its a regroup to see where Joyce etc are if Fury retires for good or a Usyk rematch. If AJ and Fury both win then that would be the big finally got both.

    Agree with most of this Django but I don’t see how Usyk is P4P number one. He’s ‘only’ the 2nd best heavyweight in my (and most peoples) view.

    I don’t see how he troubles Fury as good as he is. And I am a fan, to the point where I wanted him to win last night (not very patriotic I know). Not sure he can hit him hard enough to stop him having his way.

    Cleaned up all the marbles at Cruiserweight fighting away from home almost universally. Has moved up to Heavyweight and cleaned them all up other than one.

    Clearly P4P right now. Winner of Spence/Crawford will have an argument for it in a few months hopefully.

    It’s a discussion buddy, not an affront. You believe the fight shouldn’t have happened, using the benefit of hindsight. You stated that. I believe otherwise.

    It was one of the biggest events in boxing, 93,000 there was it? One of the worst undercards in the history of the sport. Pure Warren. But we got quite possibly the greatest entrance from Fury, so funny but then iconic with him on the throne and charging to the ring. Then another knockout from old pillow fists. Controversy about the push, which probably saved the bloke an even worse ending to be fair. Put a big fat full stop on the idea that Dillian was this monster to be feared. Must have been quite a reality check on the night for him. Been proper silent since. Humbling experience I guess.

    I enjoyed the spectacle and I’m glad it happened. Hindsight or otherwise. Because I said when it was made that Fury was out of his league. But he was this talked up mandatory, demanding this and that, had talked for years about how he’d beat Fury and so on.

    It’s sad that we only see the big guns once a year.

    Agree on Fury too. He’s my favourite boxer ever. I’ve backed him from day one. And I usually take his nonsense with the pinch of salt it deserves. But since the Whyte fight he’s even bored me with his drivel. Hopefully he’s being genuine this time when saying he will fight Usyk.

    Never suggested it was. Just pointing out you replied around the fight not happening because Whyte wasn’t deserving, but I only meant because of all (or lack of) build up and prep.

    This was missed in real time and you are right in the follow up videos that break it down he is in fact saying why Usyk beat him. But in real time i (wrongly) took it as AJ saying 'how did you beat me, I'm stronger'. Credit to AJ in the press conference, redeemed himself. Also backs up your statement not to allow ringside/in-the-ring interviews or mic-time immediately after the fight! I thought it was a really good fight and much better than the first, I was gripped.

    Usyk just oozes class, would take a helluva lot for him to react to something like that. The worst thing AJ did was throw the belts down. The rest of it i will give him a break because of how much he put into it, the sheer emotion of going 12 rounds and losing (which i can never imagine) and him redeeming himself in the post-fight press conference. At the time of his outburst i was shouting at the tele though!

    That’s only because he’s moved up in weight. He was the best cruiser in the world & cleaned the division out & it’s a toss up between him & Holyfield for the greatest cruiser of all time.

    Canelo was ranked by many as P4P number 1 after winning a belt at light heavy even though Berterbiev was ranked higher at light heavyweight.

    Crawford was ranked very high on P4P lists despite Spence having a better resume & been ranked above him at welterweight.

    You can’t penalise people for moving up in weight.

    Who out there calls it as they see it? Lennox and Andre Ward do, and I could listen to the latter call every fight I watch for the rest of time.

    Macklin is the best of a bad bunch at Sky. I don’t rate Barry Jones as a commentator, but he doesn’t budge from calling exactly what’s going on in the ring and is often right with his views.

    I agree you can’t penalise him. Kudos to him for challenging himself but you have to judge him as a heavyweight as that’s where he fights now. And the number 2 in a weight division cannot be P4P number one.

    He was an amazing Cruiserweight, dominant in what I thought was quite a strong division at the time. But he’s not faught at cruiser for years, and never will again.

    For me it’s either Fury or Inoue depending on what side of the bed I get out of.

    Of course, none of us are right or wrong. It’s just a mythical list based on someone’s opinion and impossible to quantify or reach a conclusion. Still it’s fun trying!

    Let's hope so, its the fight we all want to see now. I even enjoy some of Furys nonsense, those press conferences with Wilder were very funny.
    If he really is thinking of calling it a day I would like to think he would take the Usyk fight. He's very unlikely to get Hury fighting him and could hold all the belts and retire in style.
    Meanwhile I would definitely pay to watch AJ Wilder. That would potentially be explosive. AJ could perhaps do with a easier fight in December to get his confidence back.

    Was disappointing after the fight joahua really spoiled him self in what was a much better performance than last time out against usyk but he is just too good of a boxer for joshua. Didnt like him taking the mic off him and taking the limelight away from the winner... then that speach and the 3 cheers jesus... wouldnt want him as your best man would you everytime he gets a mic he loses fans.
