No, if they are granted asylum they are then accepted as refugees. Edit; after some time if they granted the right to remain and become "immigrants", they end up working and doing the jobs that it is now clear that British people don't want to do and contribute to our country by paying taxes etc.
I knew a young lad who was a refugee/ asylum seeker / immigrant. He got the same level of dog’s abuse when he arrived here. No one wanted to employ him because he was ‘taking jobs away from British boys.’ He did get a job though - worked as a ripper at Elsecar Main for 20 years then Sam Foxes. He had children and grandchildren who worked hard and paid their taxes just like he did. That young lad was my father. Think on.
Ffs do grow up fella. You literally entered this discussion begging to be called a racist. And now you’re desperate to pretend it’s others who have a problem. Did nanny not give you the attention you craved?
2 to 3 years down the road, you were told from day 1 we would be better off all our facilities (gas, electric, water) would be cheaper, food would be cheaper, wages would be higher the NHS would receive £350 million as stated on Johnson's battle bus, there would be no traffic jams at Dover but in France, the outrageous lies told about Ireland, I could go on and on, I feel for the coned and outrage at the conmen.
Lol...i daresay "begging" is not the word 'fella'. It's a simple question! You, amongst many on this forum, are quick to cadtigate. Pack mentality sometimes which is amusing! Not interested in entering a load of diatribe; simply this: I voted Brexit and i do not wish asylum seekers to be accepted into my country. Am i racist for this opinion? Let you sleep on it "fella" ...off for some fun ;-)
Here's my snippet on the "benefits" of Brexit. My wife is German but lives mostly here in the UK under the Settled Status scheme. However, recently she has spent a lot of time in Germany as her 88 year old mum has had an operation and needs looking after. My wife has clothes etc in both countries. About a week ago she posted a parcel containing a pair of shoes, a few blouses, a dress and other bits and bobs, in advance of her coming back to the UK in early September. She's done this loads of times pre-Brexit, no issues, cost around €15. This time it cost €30, which we thought included customs duty etc. Today I've received a letter from Parcel Force saying they've got the parcel in Rotherham, but before they can deliver it I have to pay £70 for customs duty, processing fees and VAT. This is for sending her own property from 1 address to another. We can appeal, but only after we've paid. They can boll0x. The clothes will be staying in Rotherham. And yet still some people claim that Brexit was good for us.
It's just so very sad that there are people who think like this. So very sad. What on earth has happened to inject such abhorrent views into fellow human beings? I'm at a loss to explain how people can feel like this about other people. So very sad.
You don't want people seeking shelter from war and famine to be allowed to try and start a new life in this country, where the vast majority will contribute to our economy by working, paying taxes and spending? Interesting take. Oh wait, sorry, forgot to mention the overriding "negative" of having to occasionally walk past a conversation taking place in another language. Well you don't know what they're saying do you? They could be plotting another 9/11. Enoch wouldn't have allowed this.
I don't think anyone is saying let them all in. What I'm saying is that people should be allowed to apply ahead of arriving in England. That way those who qualify for asylum find out ahead of time and can arrange safe passage. Those who get rejected then know that if they do make the crossing they will be denied asylum and so have no reason to risk their lives. The current system whereby you have to get here in order to claim asylum is utter madness. The government is creating and perpetuating the people smugglers' business and then pretending they're outraged by it. The policy is causing avoidable deaths and they just don't care.
Lol...I've no problem with people speaking in any language whatsoever. As I've no issue with any race currently in this country, regardless of colour, nationality, etc.
