Mate's a Leeds fan at the game - said it was a good first half. We have been pressing them well and our set pieces are causing them problems

I must admit, I can’t read that word without thinking of him.

neither will I now, tbf! and I guess many other people draw the association, so it's fair to call it out. I won't be using it again in future. plenty of other words to choose from. obviously I was just extending on my previous LOLZ reply, which is how it's intended to be used

Styles does have a good shot though. He's scored several crackers for us. Benson has been showing the better form though.

3-1 and that should be that, but I do hope their heads don’t drop. We could do without a thrashing.

McCarthy has been terrible, fouled for their pen and lost the ball for their third.

I thought that too but they've been very wayward as of late, along with the rest of his form. Long shots, no issue with him taking them. Different ball game is a penalty though, despite it seemingly being hard to score a 25 yarder!

Surely its game over now, but who knows if we'd been level at Ht. All ifs and buts and maybes, but it sounds like we've had a go at least.

Tedic appears to be doing OK. Winning and holding up the ball.

Missed a penalty and a stonewall penalty denied.

    We should be tied.

To be fair, I don’t think anyone would want that association. Every day is a learning day!

Leeds being tipped by many to be one of the best of the rest (outside top 8).

They were last year too. No doubt they've got of to a good start, and should comfortably stay up with the signings they've made with the money from Phillips & Raphinha. Rodrygo is like a new player at present with his goal contributions. I still don't think they'll make top 10 though... although their thrashing over Chelsea is a cracking result for them!

Did they do anything before their first goal. Ok I know its no good starting well and then allowing them to score with their first shot etc.
I'll take some consolation from that performance, even though it was mostly the Leeds reserve team lol.
Was Tedic's short time on the pitch promising, maybe it will earn him a place now ahead of Cole.

Tedic did OK from the little he had to do.

It definitely weren't their reserve team mate, they had a few youngsters/fringe players, but so did well in Helliwell, Oduor, Walton and then Hondermarck & Tedic. Their version of reserve is 25 million quid players, players who got voted cardiffs player of the season, and seasoned pro's like Forshaw, Cooper & Klich, who were all instrumental in Leeds' last couple of seasons. I think it's a very respectable scoreline for us... I mean, we did better than Chelsea ;)
