In the current situation that would mean McCarthy playing, which judging on his last couple of cameos would be weakening the defence further.

Everyone pronounces his name incorrectly. It's not Kitchen, it's Ka-ching!

I don't mind Kitching. A tough tackling bit of a hard man. Reminds me of Harry Maguire. I've never seen him have a bad game through lack of effort either. One of the first names on the team sheet for me.

I agree, I don't go as often as many on here though so the numbers of games I have seen him in is far lower but whenever I have been he hasn't been bad at all. Brings balance to the back 3 due to being left footed and in the games I have seen, he does tend to bring it out of the defence fairly well.

He’s better than either of the centre halves we’ve recruited over the summer.

Agree with this - he`s only a young man and I think in MD he will get the right guidance.

I agree he needs to learn to be more sneeky with some of his wind-ups but no one’s going to get the better of him on the physical side of the game - we need more of that not less in this team.

I think Cundy will prove to be a good signing, he just needs to find a bit of consistency

Well, not exactly no, but I’d rather him avoid suspension if he’s to replaced by either of McCarthy or Cundy.

always a tricky one. don't want to take the intensity out of someone's game, but need em to keep a calm head where needed. same with Matty Wolfe. I think we'll see a few reckless reds in his early career as well.

Me too, but do think he can be a bit daft sometimes. Loses his head, makes rash tackles, but through an effort to correct a mistake or an urge to win rather than being a crap footballer.

If he can learn to keep his cool I can see him becoming a fan favourite and an excellent player for League One.

I'm hoping they turn out to be slow starters that will come good, like Mads for one.
