Vital we keep Madds this window. As part of this rebuild season I think our strength is going to be how resolute and difficult to break down we can be (Wycombe aside). The two goals from Leeds were quality, but they had to work the ball to the edge of the box as we rarely let them get in behind and looked comfortable from set pieces.

We know we're lacking up front, but if the right players aren't available at the right price, it might be a case of having to stick with what we've got. Cole has come on leaps and bounds in the space of four weeks and there might be something in Tedic.

Norwood was a passenger but we didn't really get much up to him that he could do anything with. Tedic looked brighter simply because he had some height and caught the Leeds defenders by surprise after a comfortable 70 minutes.

See Bristol Rovers highlights for an example of what Cole can do on a football pitch.
Nothing to be ashamed of in last nights performance.
Not a huge surprise we lost to Leeds away is it.

He doesn't sell it, he just buys football clubs. You're looking a right tit.

No reason why Tedic cannot play a part in league 1 looking at yesterday's performance, no point putting him in the U23s

Seriously? he scored from a ball he tried to cross after 3 mins and then went missing.

Not a surprise we lost v Leeds, agreed. But that 2nd half we looked terrified on the ball, losing it straight away either 1st or 2nd pass.

    Wycombe, well terrible all match.

True, but I watched him in particular and can't believe that having a run every now and again with no positive outcome equas putting a good shift in.

If we don't sign a goal scorer, we are looking at a relegation battle again.

That was down to the intensity and quality of Leeds though. It's a much smarter press than Bielsa Ball, in my opinion, and on so many occasions we had zero time on the ball. Some of our one touch passing was excellent given the opposition, but there were other times where the ball just got given away to come straight back.

Thankfully we always kept our shape and made Leeds play in front of us rather than in behind. Oduor and Helliwell both struggled, so considering the importance of wing backs to the system I thought overall it was a solid performance and one we can be proud of. Definitely didn't walk out of Elland Road with my head down, and nor should the players.

I dont think we'll be in a relegation battle, i'm confident with these players we'll be nearer top than bottom, were all in a rut, cos we've been through so much dung that wer constantly thinking wer dung, C,O,Y,R,
