I was thinking early in the match that Aitchison and Chaplin are very similar players; small, high work rate, unlikely to score. And then they both score. So still similar.
Good of Chaplin to not celebrate against his old side. Um.
Burns seems like a reyt w*#&er.
Two first half injuries that look like hamstrings from the way they were clutching the back of their legs.
This might make the second half very tough. We'll see.

Look if you carry on arguing then I'm going to stop drinking this Planet Pale Ale case that I'm working my way through.

Your own personal income will be affected and before long you won't be able to afford your energy bill

Decent first half performance against arguably the best side in the division. Can't remember them creating many chances and we've given ourselves a chance to get something out the game.

On the former, no arguing, just checking you were making the link between today's game and the interest in Callum Wright.

On the latter, already worrying about that one like most people.

Depends what you class as decent.

Scared stiff of trying to play football (or don't have the ability to)

Wasting time from the first minute, until we go behind anyway.

Oh to be able to control a football or pass to a red shirt.

I think we've been poor.. but take the 1-1 all day.
Don't think Ipswich have been great nether
Not impressed by the standard, scrappy with poor general passing

Great move Styles should have scored but credit Walton with a very good save

I had no idea Chaplin has turned into Messi and Ipswich are the Man city of league 1 according to there comms these are both facts:). If we get away with Odour and Styles at wing backs we will have had a right result.

Odour and footballer don't belong in the same sentence.

Great ball in from them and Collins kicking has been appalling

That was an awful tackle on Connell yet the commentators are suggesting he's getting us a rest.

Not looking good Connel taken out hours after the ball had gone and not sure he can continue. To have to make all 3 subs due to injuries before the hour would be bad luck indeed

Reight pair of knobs these Ipswich commentary team.

Seem to think that they are champions league material.

Any reds player goes down after a challenge and they say he is just buying time hoping that it wastes enough time to steal some points.

Basically as bad as that div from Bournemouth.

If Connell is fine then I'd be looking at Norwood and Tedic coming on for Cole and Thomas. Drop Aitchison deeper and use Tedic's ability in the air to ease some of the pressure that will undoubtedly come.

Cole's work rate has improved in recent games, but he offers nothing as a physical presence or outlet despite his height and pace.
