    But it might not be if the Baggies see him as a development option and would be willing to loan him to us, having completed his signature. Any chance, or will they want him for first team squad straight away? Might be worth an enquiry.

    Always had the feeling our club was being used to sniff out other interest from higher up the pyramid to be honest.

    Hopefully we’ll get someone else in - unless they’re thinking of converting Josh Martin into a centre forward.

    Macauley Bonne looks as though he is leaving QPR. Ipswich and Bolton linked for a loan deal. I would have thought that Ipswich had enough players, but, if Bolton are in, could we be as well? Good record as a striker, especially at League One level. He is mostly likely to want Ipswich, as that is where he's from, but you never know.
