No doubt they are, and I don't blame them. It doesn't need a group stage. Lincoln have made 7 changes, prior to kick off. They have brought Anthony Scully on in the 2nd half who is one of their better players.

We need Moulder. He's a fox in the box.

I totally agree about resting players but I'd still expect our reserves to be at least organised and competitive against Lincoln reserves which we clearly weren't.

For me it's a different game if Walton doesn't give away that second goal so cheaply. I'm not saying the result would have been different, but the red card made it a forgone conclusion. I guess it highlights our lack of strength in depth. I think we'd have been much more competitive had we kept 4 or 5 of the same squad from Saturday. Connell and Andersen for starters would have improved us dramatically.

I don't mind losing I've watched us long enough to accept defeat but I really didn't like how we fell apart tonight. Let's see if we can put things right on Saturday.

Think appalling is O TT for Wycombe and any reason you missed Leeds out?

I think a number of those reactions are OTT to be honest.

She's alright and all, but she's not had the longevity of Basil. National treasure.

Given they were a Premier league side I thought we acquitted ourselves well. We weren't scared to go forward like last season and created chances and did good work in defence.

We need to support Duff. If you compare to the last 2 relegations this is by far the toughest job.

Although Wilson / the club had nearly a full team to recruit they weren’t really left with any dead wood so there was a budget to sign new players.

And then when Stendel took over we had a lot of promising young players starting their 2nd season together & I’m pretty sure all of us think we would have stayed up anyway had it not been for Jose Morais getting the job.

This time round there’s loads of dead wood that we’ve struggled to shift. We don’t have any quality up top. We’re spending peanuts on new signings, we’re short at wing back & the manager wants to play wing backs.

Duff’s got to give players chances & have a look at his options in competitive games as these players are under contract. We can’t just pay them off. We’ve got to try & improve the players.

I get the perspective thing but we also probably had the most expensive player on the pitch and 6 or 7 starters that have played in the championship playing against Lincoln reserves and we were easily beaten. It's up to the players and manager to do the replying on Saturday now.
