Congratulations, you came up with an insult to a stranger. Tell me, would you ever call someone an idiot if they said something you didn't agree with face to face?
Wrong in so many ways. Saving an extra tenner each person compared to leeds game. May be £60 for a family of 6. ( yes they exist ) in todays climate. Possibly a weeks energy bill. Eat and eat or go to football. Don't go and could save 2 weeks energy Bill's. Most Football clubs are going to be in for a big shock if they don't reduce prices in the next 12 months or so.
Hmm I see you're point I apologise. I should have said that's a idiotic opinion, which I would say to someone's face if that's what I thought.
So you aren't calling all the fans who aren't going pathetic just a select couple of hundred who aren't going? Perhaps the reality of the energy price rise that's coming has hit home for many this week. Maybe a selection of our supporters own or work for a small business and may be worried about unemployment. We sold a lot more season tickets than I expected Maybe for many that was as far as they can afford to go or a willing to go. You're right I did insult you in my other post but it's fairly insulting to label sections of people as pathetic when you have no idea on the motivation behind the decisions they are making.
I was gonna do all away games but not paying them that will watch it for free instead. It’s not about lack of fans it’s about the rejection of exploitation
I'm not aiming it at people who cant afford it. Most people I know aren't going because they simply cant be arsed. Never meant to offend anyone, but not shocked that people on here have taken it too far and seen an opportunity to try and gang up on an individual that has a different opinion.
Could be an upturn in sales today as its pay day for many folk who are paid monthly. However some may think ah its Wesnesday away we always lose there plus we arent much kop anyway and I'll spend my money elsewhere.
Fair enough I think if your opening post would have been We haven't even sold 2k for Saturday....thats disappointing, it may not have got the same response. Even if someone isn't going because they can't be bothered it's a but much too call it pathetic. If people are feeling apathy towards the club I think the reasons for that a more pertinent than anything else. Again though apologies about my initial response. It was rather hypocritical.
Chansiri is a greedy B'std. It appears he may have turned down the reciprocal pricing policy some if not most clubs are implementing. Eg £20 adults. He'll get his comeuppance if he doesn't reduce ST prices next season. Especially if they don't get promoted. Some fans will call it a day.
When I think about it. It's nothing to do pricing. It's to do with Hillsborough is an awful venue. Location. Awful too. I remember us bringing 200 to Leicester. That would never happen now. We would bring over 1k. We have always been up and down as travellers regardless of form Bringing 200 to derby and Leicester in 2007 but then we would bring a 1k to Charlton. We seem to travel better at harder away days
Stop being so dramatic, it’s not ganging up at all. Your op was The problem, if you say what you actually meant and worded it less ‘provocatively’ then people probably would’ve at least try to respond similarly. You stated the example of away fans at the Leeds match, which was a poor comparison by reasons stated earlier by myself and others. Make a point by all means, but posting like you did, well the rest is history as they say.
I was there … I recall a pub very close to ground which sold the flattest beer you could imagine … feel sick now !! Glyn Riley was it not ?
Don't worry about it mate. My skins pretty thick. Same as my head, before anyone jumps in and says that. We should be taking more than 2k to Hillsborough when is only 12 miles away and I stand by that.
