    Another highly rated whilst in Championship now virtually given away to reduce to minus 6mill column. League 1 won't affect us...

    As an aside, can anyone trust the spreadsheet if Devante Cole was on it?

    Does anybody actually see Helik as a Barnsley player, he left a month before the end of last season as far as I can remember.

    Hes obviously been after a move or maybe even told to find one, maybe hes on Championship wages but if you're telling me the manager would rate Kitchen above him, don't see it, if the board wanted to bounce straight back into the Championship he's 100% one to keep and let the manager get a tune out of him.

    Fact is, the board know they can't/won't fund a side capable of challenging for automatic promotion, they'll not say it publicly but this is a season of transition and a flirt with the playoffs would be a bonus.

    Because he was valued at 10mill not so long ago and Huddersfield + on the last day of the transfer window = less than his worth cos we are desperate. It'll be undisclosed fee which we know means we've asked for Huddesf8eld not to say how much they've arseraped us.

    We will never know because that's the way this board work. They think the majority of Barnsley fans are stupid enough to keep turning up for League 1 football after last season after all.....
