Tick tick tick.. A few on here including myself have said we'd give him till the end of this summer window to at least reassure fans he knows what he's doing or even prove a few fans wrong.. Not got long to pull that rabbit wearing a number 9 shirt out of the hat matey..
Will he get at least one.. half decent striker in and a right wingback before the end of tonight.. tick tick tick
Judging? But late for that. He's been an absolute disaster of an appointment who has fluffed his lines, said the wrong things, do e the wrong things, made the wrong decisions and generally ballsed up everything since he came here. West stand, vouchers, kits, sponsorship, beever court, carparking, general matchday access, stewarding, catering, fanzone remaining closed for months, publicly admitting he wanted an inexperienced project manager over an experienced one to keep us I the league, subsequently appointing Asbahgi, the alleged zoom meeting failure (which he hasn't denied), stating there had been no bids for players despite having sold players, admitting that finishing in the playoffs was a failure because we didn't sell anyone, taking people's money for shirts which still haven't eve seen the light of day 5 months later. The list goes on and on and on. Doesn't matter who we do or don't sign, that isn't his only job, and he has failed consistently as CEO of the company for over 12 months. It's absolutely criminal that he has remained in his position
If the rate in bringing in players to get us out of the league and develop future revenue continues we will be still in the division but bust in 5 years.
Khaled can only do what the board sanction. Why point the finger at him for lack of signings? He doesn't hold the purse strings. He basically just runs the day to day decisions. Bit like trying to blame him for results.. That ultimately is the responsibility of the manager. They know perfectly well our strategy when they take the job. Below that the players also have a personal responsibility to give 100% but they are selected by the manager at the time, who also decides the tactical play. Blame the board for a lack of investment and overall direction of the club.. That's how I see it anyway.
How do you know he has been given the green light to speak to different players. Plus you can talk as much as you want but if we are offering low wages even in L1 terms, folk just aren't gonna sign no matter who we have as CEO.
Was giving him the benefit of the doubt in a.. new board new broom.. kinda way.. Tick tick tick.. not long left now.
So your happy with the day to day running under Khaled?? I wish it was just transfers and managerial appointments he was $hit at.
TBH when it comes to day to day running of the club, how do we know? Transfers aside cos I still think the board hold the key to that, what else impacts you day to day running at Oakwell?
