Fkd aren’t we. totally and utterly skint with an unwillingness/ inability to put cash in for us to compete at this level. it’s going to be a long road back.
It's another shambles of a deadline day in another abysmal window. We clearly have people running the club who don't know what they are doing.
I’d expect us to go down with this team. We just don’t have enough goals in us to stay up with Cole as our only front line striker
I think last year’s catastrophic mismanagement will set us back years. I think we will probably go into administration within the next 5 or so. The accounts are disastrous and everything transfer activity wise tells us there is no money to support us.
The last two home games where the number of bodies in our Directors Box is outnumbered by those in our opponent's Box sums it up for me. Absentee ownership who appear not to have any interest in our Club.
Not the first time you’ve stated this. Any evidence? Because they sure are acting like they are skint.
Can you substantiate this claim? The accounts filed state the opposite. On top of that the actions in this window hardly smack of a club rolling in cash. With that percentage claim are you sure you aren't one of the Hex.com gang?
the accounts tell us we are mate, which is the only evidence we have to go on. Anecdotally transfer activity also points to having no investment. A sad state of affairs.
And not to forget this comes on the back of a pre season where we agreed a shirt deal with a sexist and racist organisation and then we had the farce of our Open day.
By this do you mean we have wealthy individuals on the board/owners. The accounts looked pretty grim?
Agreed. Our owners are currently in one of the executive boxes in the east stand, swimming in fivers. Literally swimming in a relatively big room full of five pound notes, drinking champagne. And when I say literally, I actually mean literally. They've filled that room full of bank notes, that they've taken out of the BFC bank account, and they're doing the breaststroke in it. They're pushing their hot, sweaty bodies through pound sterling, wearing bikinis and skin-tight trunks. They're swimming in all the 1000000% money they have. All the while watching their investment tank due to not using that 'swimming money' to improve the team, the club and ultimately their investment. It's either that or what you have said isn't all that reliable.
It's as much if not even more our reputation with player agencies etc due to our CEO/board as to why we can't sign anyone as the money. Multiple players have rejected us for 'smaller' clubs recently. We need someone in at the club who knows the game well at this level and how to operate. It seems the board are clueless.
