    Nobody knows. Wont know for a few days if it takes the EFL as long to approve as they took with Vita last season.

    As was pointed out last night if he does go to Millwall on loan he will be in a Tesco shop window rather than an Aldi one. If he can regain the form he was showing prior to last season there’s surely more prospect of getting an half decent sum for him in January when struggling clubs in the championship are looking to bolster there chances of survival.
    Let’s face if he had gone for chicken schit last night we would have bitching about that as well

    The major issue for me is the timing of the deal, the fact it is a loan is frustrating but as you say it puts him in a better shop window to sell for more later down the line but why last night with no time to replace and with no back ups in place?

    Stupid idea. Made even more stupid by the fact they also let Oduor go too. I have no issue with Clarke going as I don't think he is good enough but to let both fit and available LWB options leave on loan at the last minute is just stupid. Given how late it was in the window and the fact Cadden is injured still, any approach then should have been rejected unless it was for a significant up front fee.

    I don't care if he wanted to go etc. He and his agent have had all summer to find a new club and get his name out there etc. and they haven't, we should have turned it down and kept him until January and then looked at the situation again then.

    Tend to agree here.

    It could actually be a shrewd move. Give him a window to show he’s good enough, and then get better money in January. Bit of ‘out of the box’ thinking. And in the mean time, he’s off our wages.

    Has he an option for another year too? In the club’s favour, or is that BS on Twitter?

    According t Yorkshire Post the paperwork went through at the very last moment and clubs were waiting confirmation that it was done in time. Will know for sure which way went today at some point
