    Hi every one.

Thought it would be a good time to try and build some bridges to put the petty arguments to one side and celebrate the life and times of one of our own.

We are all guilty at times and I’m certainly no saint with the snarky comments but things like Gaz’s death put all that into perspective.

I would like to rename the BBS Player of the season competition in his honour if you could vote om
    the options below.

i am happy to get a trophy made up when we have decided.

I also thing it would be good to have an annual meet up. To maybe present the trophy to the winner (if anyone had the contacts to get them there).

We could also have sone internal awards.
    Best poster.
Person most likely to cause a punch up in an empty room.
Best use of a double entendre
Most likely to spontaneously combust after a routine defeat

    And a few more.

we could use the occasion annual to remember all our fallen comrades as well.

could do this the Saturday after the last game of the season (unless someone has a better suggestion)

What does anyone think. I’m happy to organise but would need 15-20 definites to make it worth while.

Please let me know. Add your name here if you will commit to the meet up.

can you also let me know if you want food and drink or just drink .

i have left this open for 2 weeks.

Some great ideas there Jimmy. An award ceremony / BBS meet up sounds a great idea. Count me in

I only knew him as Cunning Stunt a brilliant poster on here. I suspect only a handful of posters knew him personally. Since it's a BBS award, I think it's fitting to rename it in Cunning Stunts memory although I'd be happy either way.

An absolutely top class suggestion, and the sentiments are also excellent. Unlikely to ever make an event but there is always a chance. Great stuff Jimmy.

An excellent idea, I knew Gaz and Cunning Stunt, it took the best part of five years to work out they were one and the same!

A meet up would be highly entertaining, I'm thinking name badges with user name on would be needed.

I'm up for it. I only mentioned it to Hooky Feller last Tuesday before the unfortunate event of CSs passing

There are considerably more than a handful who knew him personally. There are close friends of his who post on here. People he produced fanzines with. Those like myself who have known him for years, who weren't friends as such, but whenever I saw him we'd talk for as long as time allowed and although Barnsley FC was a hot topic, it wasn't necessarily all we spoke about.

Gaz was a sociable lad about tarn. Even I met him a few times, with their Matt. I had tidied up Rev Preedy's grave a couple of times, I lived not too far away. But Gaz & his team went down & did a proper job on the stone etc. :)

Voted Cunning Stunt - evened it up at 22 each.

Couldn't it be The Cunning Stunt (Gaz Lovett) Memorial Trophy?

Would love a meet up, putting names to faces would be great, name badges would be a must!

I’d ask the family about the suggestion, maybe not right now, im sure they’d be happy with it but worth doing.
