    I"ve got to admit that having just logged on to the BBS for my morning fix & found the first three threads to be about the Tories that I couldn"t give a toss about them & I am still basking in the glory of last saturdays 3 points at Swillsboro & that makes things all be it temporary fantastic for me at the moment.

    Oh I dunno. I'm a bit old fashioned but Barnsley scoring two goals in a football match doesn't rank quite as important to me as worrying about paying my heating bill or keeping my job. Or as the fact that an unelected right wing Tory has just been given control of the country and now plans to cut taxes for the rich, has ruled out windfall taxes for companies making record profits at our expenses, is expanding the evil Rwanda scheme and wants to scrap workers rights.

    I mean it was a lovely header but that isn't keeping me warm at night

    Or a credible media, that puts a bit more emphasis on facts and competence, rather than discrediting politicians for how they eat a butty, just because of their own self interest.

    We didn't at all . They were in fighting and couldn't make their mind up on brexit. You had Abbott bugging her lines constantly,
    made no difference to the barnsley vote . You could put a red rosette on paul conway and he'd still get in .

    That just shows how contemptible the Tories have treat the working class in towns and city’s like ours that no one trusts them and with good reason .

    Built more hospitals' crime down 38%' thousands more police on the streets and a "compassionate" government that are going to sort the energy crisis' where is this wonderful utopia of which he speaks?

    The media dictates the majority of the outcomes of most PMs. Do you really think the media influenced a non Corbyn vote last time around. Or do you maybe think some people had enough about them to realise he would be completely inept? I personally believe the media coverage of the Johnson saga has been a disgrace but I have a different stance to most on here .

    Corbyn may or may not have been inept we will never know. Johnson had proved to be inept before he was elected and proved again how inept he was in the last couple of years. Most inept PM in my lifetime. So far…..

    The only ineptitude Boris showed was having a drink and lying about it....and bailing out the country in COVID . Unfortunately with the state of our soppy victim culture society the drink saga took centre stage. Not the best prime minister although he had to deal with issues never seen since the war. Certainly not the worst in my life time...although personally I can't recall a really "bad" PM
