    I’m sure there’s a debate to be had, but I don’t think now was the time to bring it up.
    Considering TalkSport are in bed with Piers Morgan, I have to assume it might drop him on some bother with work, which will be a shame as I like his opinions on football.

    I don't get it. Is he calling the Queen racist? Is he saying she should have done more to prevent racism? Is he saying black and brown people shouldn't mourn the death of a white person...ever?

    Whatever it is, it's very ill timed.

    I think I know what Trev's on about there? QPR? The street names of that bit of Shepherds Bush are named after colonial conquests. Bloemfontain, Loftus, South Africa Road? My grandpups on my mam's side lived in Rhodes house, a post war block overlooking QPR stadium. Cecil Rhodes? Really?
    That block was flattened in the early 90s & compulsory purchase relocated my old relatives to a 3 bed terrace around the corner, probably worth a million now, at least.
    If it's any consolation to Trev, we had a lovely view of that overhead kick in the away end at Loftus Road. Most of us stood up & applauded.. :)
    But still haven't forgiven John Spencer for finishing Steve Davis' career in the league game.. :mad:

    The way to combat it isnt to hijack the mourning of the Queen, whom millions of people admire, on the actual day of her passing. Shes still a mother to someone, grandmother and great grandmother. His comments, especially today, will only make things worse. Vile
