Worked till 1. We're moving in 3 weeks, downsizing before early retirementish. So spent the rest of the day filling the car with assorted crap in preparation for a car boot sale tomorrow (up at 5.30am) in order to clear said crap. Sold me sitdarn mower for a tidy sum,to a bloke who's shipping it to Lithuania on Monday morning.....he turned up with 2 other tractor mowers in his van, all off to Lithuania.....who knew that was a thing......
So we've been with friends in Paisley for the last week and now we've headed up to Oban. What a lovely place, lots to explore over the next few days. Just had some cocktails and now in the Baab restaurant having a Lebanese meal. Quite glad the game is off as I'd have missed it otherwise.
Bowling green football pitch and cricket club all on the same site with a shared clubhouse, nice little place to be.
It wasn't by choice, trust me! I did have a good chuckle as I walked past the little Wednesday retail booth near the food court
Are they still a thing? Once upon a time you couldn't go anywhere on a weekend without passing one somewhere, but I haven't seen one in years. Could do with getting rid of some clutter myself.
Me too. I was resigned to missing the Portsmouth game as it clashed with my daughter's wedding. As it turns out, we all had a fantastic day and I can still go to the match. Win-win!
