If fans of all the clubs boycotted all the games that involved the Premier league youngsters teams then that in its own right would soon send the message out and would bring about change....until that happens ...its a case of put up or shut up afraid to say
I honestly don't think this will make any difference mate, other than harm our own clubs finances. The financial side of things for the premier league youth will almost be mute compared to what they get from the senior side. It'll be worth it for them still, just for the game time for fringe and youth. Dont think the FA would do anything, because if they thought about the 'smaller' clubs, they wouldn't have fetched them in in the first place.
Ive been thinking about that as well, and at first I thought it was just the group winners who went through. But if its two from each group, then we've given ourselves a big chance with this win. But as Lincoln will surely beat Newcastle's youth team, we've probably got to beat Donny away to be sure of qualifying.
Meanwhile at Rochdale Liverpool blooded those promising youngsters Arthur Melo (22 caps for Brazil) and Jay Spearing, 33 (years old, not caps for Brazil).
