Don't forget folks about tonight's forum with JAQ, Neerav and Khaled. Who's coming along from here?

If you can't make it feel free to post a question below. We've already got plenty to ask but if there's a topic we are missing we can try and raise it.

Our next BFCST forum is this Thursday, with our Chairman Neerav Parekh, our CEO Khaled El-Ahmad, and Director Julie Anne Quay.
You can find all the details below. For those unable to attend, we'll write a full review and publish across all our digital channels in the days that follow...........
'BFCST are delighted to be working with Barnsley Football Club to bring Neerav Parekh, Julie Anne Quay and Khaled El-Ahmad to Shambles Street Bar on Thursday 22nd September for a Fans’ Engagement Forum.
Doors will open from 6:30pm, and supporters are invited to join us as we look at an eventful 2022 at Oakwell, review the Summer and the appointment of Michael Duff, and open the floor to supporters in a Q&A with the attending board members.
No tickets are required but you must show your BFCST membership on the door. Free memberships will be available on the night.
Shambles Street Bar can be found situated next to 'Pieminister' and 'Russell Eaton'. The postcode is S70 2SW.
We look forward to welcoming supporters on the night.

Given that the policy of buying and developing young talent before selling at a profit is bound to have peaks and troughs and the money we do make seems to be required mainly to fund competitiveness at Championship level, how do they foresee financing ground maintenance and improvements going forward?

Is there still an outstanding court case between the 80% and 20% (or whatever they now call themselves since the rearranging of the deck chairs).

No need to break any confidences, nor refer to ongoing legal issues, just a simple yes/no.

Ask them, why is the west stand the most expensive? when it's not under cover, the toilet facilities are from the dark ages and the kiosk for food is so small ? It should be the cheapest in the ground particularly after the CEO's lies last season

Oh, and could you try and get them to address the perception of some fans that nothing has changed at the club and that they just swapped the Board members around to flog some season tickets.

Can you congratulate them on the savvy piece of business to renew Calum Styles’ contract and protect our asset, but also ask in more general terms what protections the club has when players are out on loan if for example they get injured and can’t play. Do the loaning clubs still pay wages or a percentage of wages, so we have insurance that covers this, or does it vary deal by deal?

Why didn't we do any research on those behind the Hex sponsorship when our own fans showed how quick and easy it was to show them for what they are?

We were auctioning off the Plymouth match shirts. What's taking so long?

Voting closed on August 8th for the renaming of the CK Beckett stand. What's taking so long?

Cynically, I'd guess if it was the cheapest area, more fans would want to sit there, and for whatever reason, they don't want that.
Aesthetically it looks more pleasing on TV that more people sit in the East and Ponty

    1. They referenced a £1m injection into the club in the close season. Has that happened? And fi so, are they able to confirm the contribution from the various ownership groups and the changed shareholdings as a result?
    2. Has the financial gap now been closed as a result of the sale of players and reduced salary bill? If not, what is the shortfall outstanding and should we therefore expect further departures in the January transfer window?
    3. Do they have any comment to make about the aborted Hex sponsorship deal and are we anticipating Hex to pursue any legal action in respect of it?
    4. Given that the Michael Duff mentioned the need for another striker several times and that members of the Board acknowledged that and intimated it would happen, could they expand on what happened and why it wasn't achieved?

It's more expensive than the Ponty End, but it's exactly the same price for the respective tiers as the East Stand. East and West Stands both offer a view from the side, which most people probably regard as providing a better vantage point for watching the match.
