Again I turn to the font of all knowledge that is the bbs.
    How hard can it be?
    £85 notes apparently.
So turn off leccy at main box (not just cooker switch....just to be sure), test leccy is actually off.......

Back of cooker looks like this, 3 connections....simple so far.

Existing cooker wire looks like this. Now I know this sounds like a daft question.....is it as simple as remove the old connector blocks and attach the 3 wires to new cooker?
Internet tales of death and disaster and sparkies telling u, it must be done by a professional have made me a tad nervous, which isn't a bad thing around leccy.
I did get an A level in electronics, but it's been a while since my home made intruder alarm project.

Did the wagos have the old cooker cables running into them as there are only one lot of cables there?

Should be OK. Just take the wagos off just need unclipping without damaging or stripping wire and then screw to cookers terminals

Are you part p. Mate. If so. What is the going rate for that job. Seems steep to me.

    Found this
However, cooker circuit installation can only be done by a Part P certified electrician! With that said, if you are able to use your current circuit and cooker control unit, then you are free to wire your new purchase, but you need to know what you are doing as this procedure can be fatal if you are not

Reading that. If the installation from board to switch has been done part p. It may not be an issue.

Not sure where you are coming from on that one. If that 3 core cable comes from the cooker switch. He doesn't need more, Just make sure its the right size..
    Edit
Just realised what you may have seen. The Brown appears Black. I assume it's dark brown with the light an hindrance.

I normally use wagos for adding cable in hard to reach places, so it looks from that picture the previous tenant/owner had other cables running from it to the cooker/appliance.

Or they just used them for safety after removing

Looked em up and used em on occasions. But not so much in industry.

I got two years into a chemistry degree before dropping out… it’s easier than you think, provided you don’t do it wrong…

I'm scared stiff of house fires so I'd definitely have paid the money for a registered electrician to do it!

Believe me. Some B'stds are con merchants. (Not in this instance I may add as I don't know who quoted and it seems the going rate) Mate (oap) got one out of the adverts in a local paper. Electrical services section.
When he explained what was happening with the new shower the guy fitted, (and the excuses the spark came up with, ) I went to investigate. I wouldn't have let him change me a light bulb. Mate wouldn't give me his name cos I'd av tored a right strip off him. Appalling set of issues. And downright lies.
Eg Fitted a 10kw in place of a 7.5 kw. (Which he conveniently had spare.)
Which meant the switch and cable were undersized.
30A (old Dorman smith) MCB tripping. Excuse. "It's tired' a term sparks use but not in this case.
    Ctun.
