That’s a good question but they way the Tories are behaving it looks like they are trying their hardest.

The Government has blocked the Home Secretary (Cruella Braverman) from being involved in immigration policy. Not sure, but I don't think anything like this has ever happened before. Knowing Braverman's odious racism, why on earth was she made Home Secretary? (The same obviously applied to Ugly Patel).

    Unbelievable Jeff.

Is this true? Great news if so!

All I can find about her is torching the trade deal with India.

Not saying they do want to kill farms - just that they accept that as a possible consequence in keeping the ‘right’ people happy.

This lot are in the pockets of billionaires aren't they? Solar farms would affect the profits of their mates and cause issues with the fracking they seem adamant on ploughing ahead with.

Since Labour announced GB energy and this lot have fallen off of a cliff its nothing more than a way of trying to protect tory donors once they are booted out.

Reported in the Sun apparently. Not the most reliable source I must admit :confused:

I see from the BBC newspaper roundup the Daily Star seems to have taken over from the Sun on trashy but occasionally amusing puns in their frontpage headlines.

The latest is the Truss vs lettuce 'bet'. I particularly like the "how long can wet lettuce Liz Romaine" pun, but wonder, given the average IQ and life experience of a Daily Star reader how many people know the difference between an Iceberg and a Romaine when it comes to lettuce.
Come to think of it, I am sure at some point, somewhere, a Daily Star journo will come up with a joke about the Conservatives being sunk by by 'Iceberg Liz'.
