I remember last time we were here under stendel there was pinnock mowatt davies moore etc who i thought these are stand out players really good especially pinnock. 2 of those are now playing in the premier league. Out of these i like about 3 players the rest are just meh none would get in stendels side.

Apart from the goal, its enough to send someone to sleep.

I know we've been toothless last few weeks, but this FGR side is ridiculously poor. And we've still only had one major chance.

Kitching wants a slap and taking off just for his booking.

Apart from that, it's like a training session.

Imho...fairly even...we have just about deserved a half time lead...Williams my mom so far.
Still like to see us quicken up our passing.
Ref ....poor..Fgr going to ground very easy and the official buying it.

Thought up until the goal we were decent. A lot better with Kane and Benson playing further forward but since we scored we are going through the motions again.

Can someone explain formation game plan.
It's mind blowing watching long ball ,high pressing not, wingbacks getting forward .
We're quite happy watching them in possession.
At least give the poor buggers who have turned out something to cheer about.

A fair bit of intricate passing with no purpose or end product.

FGR look poor and could easily scrape a draw.

we look better with Luca Connell in the team imho.

I dropped a cashew nut a few weeks ago, fumbled just under the sofa, picked it up and just as I started chewing I saw the actual nut I’d dropped. God knows how long the other one had been under there. Really need to hoover up more.

Not too sure but they’ve had no shots so you could argue it’s worked ?

It would be a much better game if the goals were rotated 90 degrees around the pitch. Neither team is remotely interested in going all the way up field into the opposition's penalty area, but they do love passing the ball along that half way line.

There was a period in the first half when Cadden received the ball by the dugouts. Five passes later Williams received it on the half way line by the East Stand. About 5 minutes and about 30 passes later Cadden again received the ball by the dugouts. In all that time we'd traversed the pitch 7 times, Forest Green hadn't had a touch, but we'd not made it out of our own half!

It’s clear we are lacking confidence glad we are winning but second half needs to be better

haha yep a great passage of play. I wondered if the plan was to do that until full time. The thing is , I reckon it would have worked

in the end, Kitching, got bored of such pedestrianism and went for a Hollywood pass.

I was a bit concerned with the amount of possession FG were having and just checked the bbc stats and they had 63%! Yes they fortunately weren’t going anywhere but I do hope we can pick this up a bit in the second half
