    Comfortable enough victory.

Still painfully slow going forward though, and that lack of pace threat and urgency will cripple us over the whole of a season.

    Williams J excepted of course.

Much improved second half, I have to say. Actually looked a threat.

However, apart from their 'keeper, who I thought was outstanding, Forest Green looked an abysmal outfit.

3 points is 3 points though. So I'll sleep easily after several pints and a kebab in readiness to go and watch tomorrows "white hot" Sunday League action at Thurlstone :D

Edit: Could be worse: Just listened to a few Wednesday fans moaning about their performance and Darren Moore when they've won 4-2 and gone 3rd in the League......

That's where the 2nd goal came from getting it forward quicker.
We need to up the pace of the game more at home .

I had P or G on driving away from the match. Unbelievable the number of fowls moaning about Moore because they are only 3rd and only scored 4.

I`m usually a positive person but that win doesnt mean a lot,it was like beating Frickley or the likes in a friendly.Worst opponents i`ve seen in a long time.

Imho...I'll take the 3 points .....difficult to call on with the opposition...that 2nd halfthey were so poor.
I was looking to see if there was an improvement in our 3 ball playing midfielders....but I'm still not sure that works.....Connell seemed to be the pick of them.
Williams was my mom with his pace and assists an obvious miss from previous.
    Cole worked well up front.
As someone else stated...we liked to keep ball but our method still seems very slow. Need more pace in our build up and get that sharp passing going.
Still an improvement on previous and we got 3 points.
