    Have you seen "We own this city"? - Came out this or last year based on a true story in Baltimore and written by David Simon (The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street). Really worth watching if you haven't.

    We have it recorded on Sky :) Just finishing the LOTR season 1 on Amazon at the mo. Might watch that next.

    Play For Today to see if we can bring some new writers and actors to our screens instead of the same old ones

    Boys from Blackstuff and Rumpole of the Bailey became series after appearing as a one off play for today.

    Time for all this reality tv and celebrity sh ite to be binned of our screens.

    They did a one off special of this in 2016 for part of a comedy celebration, and it was actually quite good.

    Better than the Porridge re-make that got one series, and new "Still" Open All Hours which got multiple series.

    Not a specific show but what happened to sketch shows??? Never seem to be on anymore. Fast Show, Harry Enfield, Smell of Reeves and Mortimer etc..
