Never mind that, Mr D. How well did he play in those four frames before the interval? It's not just as well as I 've seen Jack play, it's as well as I've seen anyone play. And while we're on, I'm no lover of Murphy, but how admirable was it for him to call that foul on himself in the last, knowing he was handing a match-clinching chance to Jack?
Lasowski played exceptionally well. As Did Craigie. It wasn't good to see the lad capitulate like that live on TV. In the end it looked like Mark Allen felt for him too. @orsenkaht you're spot on about Shaun Murphy. I don't like him either but it was refreshing to see the sportsmanship. I'd also like to mention mind games. I think Murphy's comments about O'Sullivan did really get under his skin. Hence the drubbing at the hands of Ding. Fair play to Ding but I couldn't help but think something was amis with O'Sullivan. Likewise Craigie. At 4-2 up it looked like he cracked. Maybe it was his comments about Selby, BBC commentators and winning the tournament that prompted him to choke and stop playing his natural game.
