USA are not a force without Brek Shea .......
But I would dearly love them to surprise people by pumping the Welsh.

Shame Daryl Dike didn't make it to the finals with the USA. That would have been something with so many ex Reds playing or in the squads at least.

Do you mean ‘surprise Wales’? I certainly don’t want them surprising us :D

Think Wales should edge it. USA are a bit of a work in progress again and probably not as strong as they managed to pull together in prior tournos.

Reckon they may have a decent squad building though for the next World Cup.

Thought it said Wales v Mercia at first ,which I’d have said a draw with Mercia defender Offa’s Dike (DK) defending deep.

Massive game really - both should beat Iran so qualification may hinge on it

50% of the USA are excellent players, young too, have a very bright future. Same problem as Wales though, other 50% aren't great. Reyna, Pulisic (despite his poor form for Chelsea), Aaronson, Mckennie, Dest all very good players... Think as every Wales match though, if Bale & Ramsey turn up, they'll got a brilliant chance

Nothing in it based on FIFA rankings.
    A-16
    W-19
    I- 20

5 points between Wales & Iran.

USA will hit a couple of home runs in to the end zone.

I’m not sure how reliable those Fifa rankings are, based on Iran allegedly being the 20th best team in the world !

I hope they both beat the hell out of each other.

And if the Yanks do badly, then maybe it will shut that gobby moron Alexi Lalas up a bit. ;)

I hope Wales smash them, may the USA remain a bit player in "soccer" forever.

After recently researching my family tree from my Great Grandparents onwards they're all Welsh. So I'm with them today.

Is this the Welsh national team or Chesterfield? I thought they would be doing much better.
