Ban religion cause of most troubles in the world.
I do think people need to research before the comment on things though reading this thread. The catholic religion has 1.3 billion people worldwide who class themselves as catholic so to blame them all or the pope for what happened in ireland is stupid.

And half the little schooligans shouting it are so off their heads they probably dont have a clue who the pope is.

But i do agree just ban the lot

Don’t underestimate the influence of Byzantine’s and the Eastern Church at the onset of the Crusades. Fascinating period of history to study. Gives a great insight into serfdom, the rise of Islam, the make up of modern day countries such as France etc

I agree CRAZY not letting people use protection res
Ban the lot because you don't agree with it, there as definitely been terrible things caused by it but it still helps a lot of people in different ways. It's not all bad. It's like saying all Priests abused kids because some did, silly argument.

Agree it shouldn't be banned that's the wrong approach. Teaching people to think critically will help.
All religion is indoctrination, that's why the overwhelming majority following the religion of their Parents.
The one that's always got me from being a kid is why religious people are so sad when someone dies. If they 100% truly belive they are going to Heaven then by definition they shouldn't be equally as upset as a none believer would be.

It's human nature to be upset when someone dies wether you belive you're going to see them again or not ,it wouldn't be normal not to cry/ be upset, I've never heard of any Religions ( could be wrong) stopping people getting upset if someone dies.

The worse atrocities tend to have been committed by those regimes and movements that explicitly rejected God - communism, fascism - caused more deaths than all religions put together.

what makes me laugh is that for those with an agenda every evil perpetrated by someone in a dog collar is immediately equated to their religion, but every saintly action and sacrifice and act of charity also committed by people in the Church is immediately put down to human nature.

Why? Ones the most practiced form of christianity in the world. The others abit of a joke formed in the 16th century because the king wanted a few more wives.
