    Ben Whites left the England squad citing personal reasons and Arsenal have posted a tweet saying ‘We’re all with you Ben’

    Whilst I know there’s nothing concrete it wouldn’t surprise me really, If it is then I hope he feels like a weight off his shoulders and just cracks on, a think there’ll be more to step forward too once a high profile player comes out

    Weird how it's still an issue.

    Patrice Evra said there's atleast 2 gay footballers at every professional club. Gary lineker says he knows a couple who were close to revealing it.

    It'd take some guts to reveal anything of that nature over in Qatar. I can't wait for the day someone reveals it and the response is "oh ok mate" :)

    It shouldn't be an issue if anyone is gay but I doubt Milly is his beard. It won't be that reason why he's come home.

    Calvert-Lewin got loads of stick when he was doing loads of photoshoots wearing dresses and handbags and stuff for magazines, obviously it's when Everton were really struggling and looked in danger, he took a lot of stick for it. If a gay footballer has a bad game, I can imagine the hassle he'd get mate. I can fully understand why they'd prefer to keep it quiet - not that it has anything to do with anyone other than him & his family/friends etc

    It seems the norm in women's football - plenty of openly gay players. Suppose they are far less likely to get abuse from the fans
