Yeah but he should never have been given the opportunity to reverse his decision.

That's what I've said for the last few years. When another trained official (or more than one) looks at a video in slow motion and says to you 'i/we think you're wrong' then you go with what they say even if you don't believe it

Poland don’t deserve to go through playing like this ,only the keeper deserves any credit

I worked the table out all wrong. I'd rather Mexico go through on respective performances..

Poland were terrible and very lucky, they hardly deserve to go through on that showing.
But Mexico and the Saudi's have only themselves to blame, after the 3 games.

It's unusual Messi makes a proper meal out of it like he did today(not saying he doesnt go down easy!)... Feeling the pressure I reckon??

Give over, he's the biggest cheat going. Makes Bruno Fernandes look like that lad who carried the triathlete over the line.

You are joking me right? Not a prayer you've watched him plenty if you think that mate. He's nowhere near as bad as Ronaldo, Felix, Neymar etc

Can't argue with that. He's either joking or then he's the president of the Barnsley branch of CR7 fan club.

I'm not disputing he doesn't go down easy like every other pro footballer these days mate, but not to the extent of the ones I mentioned. Especially with the added theatrics of holding his face and rolling. Definitely was wickling about them not progressing. Glad they didn't score the penalty though, karma. Messi had a great game though. He's the oldest player since records began to have 5+ dribbles and 5+ chances created in one game, and he's first player to make assists in 5 consecutive world cups and if he gets another 2 he'll be joint with the great Pele for them overall. He's actually not far away from having 1200 goals & assists in total. Incredible numbers. When I make my football quizzes it get's very annoying because the answer is usually Messi, Messi, Messi................

Still reckon the Argies(older ones anyway) will prefer Maradona though just because got them the world cup
