    I actually watched the Germany match and thought the female officials were pretty good not seem any real criticism of them. Chances are they need to be better than most men to get to the top so its not a great surprise.

    If Germany had won 8-0 they'd have been through so Japan were doing them a favour beating Spain. If it had finished a draw between Japan and Spain Germany were still out on goal difference.
