Realistically I can't see us bowling them out quickly. I do think England got a little silly with the batting this morning.
Just a bit of life advice from me. Life is too short to have sensitive teeth. So if you do get some Sensodyne.
Some classy batting on show from Pakistan. Steady away, punish the poor balls. We've plenty of runs to play with though.
That 5hit show this morning will take the sting out of our bowling attack for the rest of the series and mentally fatigue our in form batsman.
I’m off out at tea break to buy some Sensodyne ( and tapal tea while I’m there ). As they preach, life is too short. I’ve now seen the light based on your confirmation.
It does. I thought T Rex when I first heard it when I bought the Album (Life on other Planets) in 2002. Za is a decent tune too.
There's absolutely nothing in this pitch. the Pakistan openers have comfortably got to almost 100 without loss. England need something to happen.
If Pakistan do as well it lessens how good what we achieved yesterday was. Makes you wonder as apparently a thousand England fans are there and the crowd looks quite good for Pakistan in a test match, so it makes you wonder if the grounds staff were told to make it flat to get five days of paying customers to make the most of England being back for the first time in 17 years.
I doubt it's that deep to be honest. It was win the toss and bat. It would have been interesting seeing England bat with scoreboard pressure. Would they be able to muster 657 then? I've a feeling Pakistan won't bat as recklessly as England and England will wish they'd ground it out this morning when they've been in the field for nearly 4 days.
Makes sense but I think it was pressure from the tea and tooth sponsors to get 5 days of advertising and loadsa tapal tea moments. Life is too short
If you were in the ground the Tepal Tea Lounge would be the place to be to be fair. Proper seats, shaded from the sun and a lovely brew. If you could only drink one drink for the rest of your day's it's gotta be a cuppa.
