    It's not a sign it's a "piece of artwork" allegedly reflecting the industrial heritage of the area according to BMBC. Or in layman's terms a massive waste of money.

    talking of signs - I assumed that a green light at the top of Harborough Hills Road approaching the Alhambra Roundabout meant that it was full steam ahead to go over the roundabout. Wrong.
    (Fortunatly my ancient motor car was almost out of breath before it reached the top of the hill so no harm done.)

    And still on the subject of road junctions - things are very tight re traffic light timings if you're travelling from Broadway to Pogmoor (crossing the A628) at the Penny Pie roundabout.

    I saw them putting that thing up the other Sunday. I jest you not I counted 10 men, three wagons, a mobile crane and a full lane closure on the way down to the roundabout.

    How much did this cost and can we not support our people more appropriately in this time of need instead of installing this crap? It doesn't even look good!!
