First things first. This train is a lot warmer than that ground. The game. That was a bl00dy good performance that was. Not just grit but some real quality stuff. All the players should be really proud of that - individually and collectively. Special mention for Anderson. Sat where we were you could see how hard he works that defence when we don't have the ball. We really need to put our usual policy in the bin and keep him beyond January. I never expected us to be in this position and the coaching staff deserve huge credit. You can see the improvement in all the players. We still look weak up front though so I hope the Board follow through on their earlier commitments and give Duff the additional player resource he has so richly earned. In the meantime, that result/performance was something to enjoy- as is the table. COYR.
This with knobs on! Duff needs to be backed, he’s more than proved he’s the man for the job. The board need to provide him with a forward better than what we already have.
Excellent summation. We're trying to make a proper fist of it in this league with one arm tied behind our back. We need at least one quality forward. We have nobody at the moment. We have the odd flash of talent but no reliable consistency or quality. Nevertheless that was a joy to watch this evening.
Great performance with every player putting a shift in . If we had a striker like Kiefer Moore we would be flying
Echo all that, other than I was sat in a nice warm flat. Performance of the season for me (or maybe the Wednesday game). Quality is lacking up front but can't deny they put a proper shift in.
Considering we seem to be picking up injuries every game it’s a brilliant effort to be 4th in league at the minute let’s hope tonight’s injuries aren’t long term because we’re running out of replacements.
It’s up there but I thought Wednesday was better, though stay in this form we should look up not down. We need to keep Mads and bring a centre forward in. How good would we be with a competent league one front line?
That’s what I keep saying. Midfield and defence are up there with best in the league but our options up front are an embarrassment. Get Duff the tools he needs in January, he sure as hell deserves it.
You can't ask multi millionaire and billionaire owner trustees whatever they are calling themselves to buy strikers out of their own money. It would be much more financially self sufficient to push Jasper Moon up front and get 9000 crowds in the National League North. Do keep up.
Ieg room any better higher up in that stand I'm only 5ft 8 and I struggled last time I was there Ivan Tony's pen saved game. Strange ground the big stand behind one end seemed closed barring for about 6 people sat in the middle.
