    The daft thing is that he got himself so far ahead of the pace that he could have got there in singles! Shame but excellent anyway from Brook - averaging just the 84 after 2 Tests.

    Very bold decision. Will be a great win if it comes off. And tbh I'd rather lose than watch a bore draw played out. Looking forward to tomorrow's play. I've been getting up to watch after lunch sessions.
    Will probably put the alarm on early for tomorrow.

    I know they said that they would risk a defeat to try and win, but it doesn’t feel particularly calculated a risk, given the state of the pitch and depleted bowling attack. Particularly in a 3 match series.

    It’s more aggressive than I’d have been. I would have prefers us to bat on for another 30 mins after tea but then Pakistan would be less likely to seriously try and chase it

    I think it's a shame Brook got out because the 20 mins it would have taken to get his hundred would have secured at least a draw. As it stands we're staring down the barrel of an entertaining, reckless defeat. I love it. Shades of myself in that declaration.
