Yet again you try and make out that I supported the actions of the government, when in reality you know full well that there was barely a single decision that the government made that I would have made, at the time that they did. So don't try and say that I supported the government because I certainly did not.

No, im well aware that like the muppets i've spent the last 20 years voting for you'd have locked down longer, harder and earlier and we'd be even more fuucked into a cocked hat than we are now.

Ooh, lock me down harder Richard Burgon.

This is an economic crisis of our own making, prompted by the cowardice of the pseudo middle class, who were cowed by the relentless fear porn of the BBC, paid hard-core extremist pressure groups like 'Independent' SAGE, interest
-conflicted money-grabbers like Whitty, Vallance and Mone, and the printed media.

I do fully agree with you that workers need fair pay, and they should rightly be allowed to take industrial action to achieve that. But abusing posters who's lives have now been made even more difficult for not supporting the strikers - you surely must see the irony when you were one of the most vocal advocates for the catastrophic policies which have landed us in this mess?

Earlier and harder yes, but far shorter, not longer. Just so we're all on the same page.

Generally speaking I don’t agree with striking and think certain roles should not be allowed to strike.

BUT (in capitals before people jump on), any role should have a process that allows grievances to be raised in a fair and honest way without fear of recourse and if that can’t be achieved I’m not sure what other options people have but to withdraw labour.
I’m assuming all the people going on strike have explored the option open to them and have been left with no other option, if that’s the case I reluctantly support them.

Yes, there are always cheaper/less experienced people that are happy to do the job for the rate that your current staff aren't happy with. But you lose experience and the time taken to train them up to speed. In some sectors, it doesn't matter as much - one barber is much the same as any barber (for example, no disrepect to barbers who do a skilled job) - but in others that could be a big impact on the bottom line.

To refuse the right of an individual to remove his/her labour, if they so choose, is slavery.

He's a surgeon. He has this board up on the theatre monitors while he's operating. I know because I went in for a boil removing from my ar5e, and ended up with a vasectomy because he wasn't concentrating.

It’s ok the army are going to cover the ambulance drivers etc . That probably means my lad who’s in the forces will be on it instead of his leave . He’s not on a salary anything remotely like them though !

Really?? Think you need to do more research on the comparetive salaries before making these statements....... much better salaries available in the army with a far better pension for a long time less....... or is this another fictitious tale with another fictitious family member??? There's a lot of fantasists on here with no grip on actual reality...
