Now this is a boring game of football. Hope the second half livens up as the Dutch need a goal

Yes cat and mouse and dirty fouling don’t make an interesting spectacle.

I hope we can beat the French because I haven't seen anyone set the World alight since it became a knockout.

Loads at stake. Fear of losing.

It feels like 2002 all over again for me. A quarter final against the favourites & best side in it. Win & we’re clear favourites to win the tournament.

Unfortunately we lost then & Brazil went into the last 4 with Turkey, Korea & a Germany side we’d beaten 5-1 the previous year, what an opportunity lost.

Well there we have it. That bore Johnathan Pearce says tomorrow’s game will be a cracker.

How did Messi not get booked for a deliberate handball there. Far more deliberate than the guy who got booked in the first half

50% star player bonus, and 50% for his reaction that he didn't even try to get away with it.

Take Messi out of the Falkland invaders team and they’d be absolutely w4nk

If they got the chance, the commentators would, without a single second of hesitation, get down on their knees and suck Messi's kok. I like watching him play too, but FFS.

That’s true but unfortunately Messi is a player who can make a poor team good all on his own
I know we have been rightly having a go at the over the top stuff from some pundits but no question he is world class

Aye, that pass for the goal was pretty special. But the adoration from Mr Pearce is absolutely nauseating.

Maybe not absolutely w4nk, but it's crazy how one man can carry the whole team like this.

I'm not particularly impressed by the Dutch tonight either, so maybe this is a deserved scoreline at this point.
