    ..bunch of cheats... really hope Morocco stuff them. Falling down, clutching face when no contact made... Quite physical pushing tripping etc. too

    As I type this Morocco deservedly score !!!!!!

    Not sure why they bother anymore? Any penalty/red card isn't going to be given for that stuff anymore with VAR checking it. Seems pointless

    It's worth the risk I think because the directive is a 'clear and obvious' error. So if I poke you on the shoulder, and you fling yourself to the ground, it won't be overturned because of the 'contact'.

    Its still wnk mind.

    They are falling down at every contact looking for a penalty. In fairness I think the ref has now got wise and keeps ignoring them. I think they may have had a decent shout for one but the 'cry wolf' rule has kicked in. Surrounding the ref at the half-time whistleis not a good look either. Bunch of cry babies. Morocco just getting on with it and playing some decent stuff too.

    Get that, I can't imagine a ref giving it though these days without checking VAR first, unless they're 100% sure.

    Refs give them all the time without consulting VAR, as said above even if you poke em VAR wont overturn because there's 'contact', a joke matey!

    Before a ball was kicked in this world cup...I fancied Brazil...France and my dark horses Portugal.
    They are a great side with some top players the Portuguese but I I was just thinking bet the dark arts start...and sure enough they have. Horrible ugly side to their game it really is and they let themselves down big time.
    I do hope Morocco win anyway but I reckon Portugal will cheat their way back in to it and win.
    Fantastic first half from the Africans....very organized and no mean skill on the ball.

    After the Hol v Arg ref last night, booking everyone in the stadium, when I heard this ref had sent off 10 players in a previous match, I was a bit concerned, but he's been nowhere near as bad as last nights.

    Why does the score banner in the top left corner say MAR?

    Edit: Found it. It's the ISO country code.

    Not sure why they feel the need to use that though. We are not doing a banking transaction. Just use MOR so people understand.

    Pepe... what a cheat! went down in the area with minimal contact looking for a penalty within a couple of minutes of the restart. Dirty physical player too.

    It's annoying though that Morocco fans whistle every single time their opponents touch the ball.

    If they win I think it makes our game later even more nervy for the players because as well Morocco have done, if we had been offered the chance to play them for a place in the WC final we would have thought Christmas had come early.

    Morocco, look to be enjoying themselves, lots of smiles and back slapping...don't look like a team under pressure. I noticed one cross that was played straight into the Morocco keeper's hands...Portugal moaning at each other and looking stressed. That said Portugal should have the firepower with Ronaldo 'et al' to pull this back. I say .....SHOULD! I hope not.

    They're being the 12th man, fair play to them if it helps them keep this lead. Think the atmosphere They're creating is great personally.
