    The referee's and VAR have been absolutely awful throughout this world cup.

    The promised almost instant offside decisions simply haven't happened, general decisions have been extremely inconsistent and it appears that referees and indeed VAR have been giving big name players favourable decisions. Examples include ronaldo's dive and Messi staying on the pitch yesterday

    I suppose the biggest problem with officiating football is every single footballer is a cheat.
    Couple that with incompetent Refs and its very frustrating to watch.

    It was a good shot but at this level you shouldn’t be getting beat from there, Pickford seems to have cut out his headless chicken routines these days but I still don’t rate him.

    France look comfortable and competent. England, just like against Senegal, slow laboured,no pace up front, no press. Saka not good enough, Foden not used correctly. England have no threat currently. Changes needed.
