    The referee shouldnt have needed var in the first place. All its doing is allowing referees to avoid making decisions at all and therefore deliberately slowing the game down when we go through the now mandatory motions of checking every angle at var then having the ref trot over to look at the monitor all to see something that even Trevor kettle would have noticed.

    I think Southgate will be gone by Christmas. He or the FA or both may think he's took us as far as he can. Kane needs to leave Spurs as well and play for a bigger club so he knows what playing under pressure is. Playing for England is a lot tougher for expectations than Tottenham is.
