Don't get as disappointed as I used to. Used to be fuming for ages after losing but soon get.over the.disappointment these days. Come on Morocco, would love them to win it.

The 2nd penalty was within a whisker of Bradford.

Some of the posts on here lambasting England are just Bizarre.
France are a very good side and will probably win the World Cup
We lost a game by one goal when we missed a penalty Hit the post and Lloris made some excellent saves and we had no help from the Ref
It could easily have gone the other way but today just want our day can’t really fault the performance or even Southgate’s tactics just sometimes against a really good side you lose. That’s what happened today

Taking a leaf out of Arabian Ian’s book I’m now a Morocco fan :)

Not really, he'd have been coming off 90 mins on the bench with no warmup or feel for the ball at all.

No he hasn't. He's under no pressure at Spurs where he's become a legend winning nothing and not expected to win anything.

I think he'd be even better for England if week in week out he played for a team expected to win championships and cups.

Agree with that , I’m not a Southgate fan but today wasn’t a tactical fault

Exactly, if he hadn't scored the first we'd have been well out of it!

Because if the VAR ref says that he was right first time he just plays on like for our first penalty
If VAR think he might have missed something he is asked to have another look. Sometimes they see the replay and stick with what they first said

I think I will disagree with you and and everyone else who doesn't feel my opinion is correct. Also, England didn't lose because of the referee. I get that people are disappointed.

One thing... Apart from a couple of times when Mbappe made a bit of a meal of things, France played the game in a reasonable spirit unlike the remaining teams (excluding Morocco in this) who cheat, dive, feign facial injuries, argue with the officials etc. For that reason I would like to see Morocco and France in the Final.
It was not France's fault the referee tended to favour them.
England played teh game competitively but, again in a good spirit. One opf teh better games from that point of view after teh recent fiasco's wher teams have lost their composure.

Exactly. It gives hope for the future, Foden, Grealish, Rice, Saka , Rashford Will take lessons from this world cup and should be able to take them into the next world cup with a better outcome.

Unfortunately you can’t have a France Morocco final but I do hope whoever wins their semi final wins the final as well

Also just annoyed that it'll be really boring if France win it twice on the trot
