    If Harry Kane had won that penalty, people would praise him for "forcing the defender to foul" him. I think there was contact there, otherwise the French would have protested. Of course Di Maria may have exaggerated it, but isn't that what they all do these days?

    A player could fall over with no one within 2 yards and Shearer would say its clever and he played for it and deserved it etc. :D

    Football isn’t a none contact sport. A slight contact doesn’t entitle you to fall over for a penalty
    No Danger of Kane getting one like that anyway he couldn’t even get one when a French Defender took both his legs out from behind.
    But I don’t like any player doing it

    For all Argentina’s ability in this game (which has been way above the French) they are winning because they look like they want to win, and the energy and effort they are putting in is phenomenal.

    France have turned us as if they are Wednesday playing Darfield Rd Juniors.
