Only sold 1,674 for Accrington too. Top of the form table and on Boxing Day as well.

Are people just not arsed this season? I don't blame anyone fwiw after last season and cost of living.

It’s looking that way but cost of living will definitely have an impact. Dodgy streams have a lot to answer for too. Must be disappointing for Duff and coaching team how apathetic public reaction to our great run seems to be.

The majority of fans of all clubs aren’t season ticket holders - if you want them to come then you need to be offering something, especially Burton, no offence even the name just sounds boring. Burton - nothing happened for 500 years, the end.

The problem I have with that is, for an adult who decides to go on the day the cheapest ticket is £22 in the Ponty. I've done it and every time been given a ticket on the front two rows where you have an appalling view of the game. I changed to going in the East Stand Upper where I again got the worst ticket in the Stand though a better view than the Ponty.
So if you're in the know you spend £27. That is anything but cheap. If you're not and go for the cheapest available you're going to have a shocking seat. Incentive to give it another go for the uncommitted? Pretty low I'd say.

Surely the majority of fans at oakwell are season ticket holders?

    Take your point Wakey.
"Gone for a Burton" represents 'going missing', like most of their fans on Saturday. Defo need rebranding (with a red hot poker :D)

Think they'll be another 2 more sold but I get your point we sold that fixture out under stendel. Are trains.on strike that day?

How long 'till Thomas is back? Maybe then we might see some fast break attacking rather than the current pedestrian stuff provided by our midfield.

He hasn't got the players stendel had at his disposal to play the attacking stuff doing well with what he has to play with.

Don’t think there’s much cause for complaint to be fair? Duff is working absolute miracles to get us where we are with just one half decent striker to call on. Plus all the injuries he’s had to contend with.
I’m baffled why anyone can criticise the style of play. He’s found a system that works. All credit to the bloke.

Wouldn't be normal if some fans didn't pull the club, team, ground or manger to bits, luckily some fans see the bigger picture.

Covid then last season shambles has had a bigger affect on Barnsley fans than i could ever have imagined, add to that inflation, heating bills and christmas coming the crowd against Burton was good.

It would be good for Duff and these players if we can fill the ponte and raise the roof like seasons gone by.
