    A good article but, despite claiming to be reliably informed that this is the best start to a season in over 40 years, this isn’t the case.

    In 1996, I make that 26 years ago, we had 44 points from 23 games, or 1.9 points per game. Quite a memorable year!!!

    This year we have 36 points from 20 games (1.8ppg). Neither by total points or points per game is this year better.

    By Christmas in 1999 we had 39 points from 22 games and the same in 2018. (1.77ppg) Marginally better by total points but not as good ppg.

    I think it’s time to take the dogs for a walk!!
