Not for me, I think we give him a chance to see out his contract. Hopefully he works his socks off and realises this might be his last chance to be a professional footballer. Nothing to lose. Let him prove to us he can do it.
There’s a serious player in there, somewhere. Extremely highly rated by Leeds who have an exceptional academy system that’s produced some serious players over the years. From what I hear it’s certainly not an attitude problem, more of a confidence issue.
Personally don't think even Duff could turn things round for him been at the club is it 3yrs and I still don't have a clue where is best position is and clearly failed at a much lower level. I may be wrong but I think its a lot to do with his attitude certainly plays like he doesn't give a sh#t.
Good footballer without a position. Not defensive enough to be a left back, not creative enough to be played in midfield and not clinical enough to be a striker. I hope we can somehow salvage him. He did score one of the most important goals in recent times.
The Hartlepool manager at the time - Paul Hartley - brought him in to try and play him as a number10 and lost his job after a couple of games. The new manager - Keith Curle - has played him left and right but probably wants to bring his own players in as they are still struggling. It would good to see him come back and challenge for a place. If not, hopefully he can get another loan and get some regular football and kick start his career. I always like a skillful player but for one reason or another it's not worked out but we'll always have Griffin Park
Need to get shut for me.....he as had loads of chances under different managers......and if he not cut it at Hartlepool it doesn’t bode well.....
Always be a legend for his Brentford goal, but never been much of a player for us and he needs moving on quickly for good. He's played under numerous head coaches and never been trusted as a first team regular or made a position his own. He's just failed out on loan at a poor league two side.
Curle Hartlepool manager say technically good but doesn't affect the game sum him up other than one night in west London that is.
At 23 yrs old and struggling to make a impact in the Hartlepool team then it’s probably time to get shut although our options off the bench are so weak at minute he might make the squad for the Bolton game.
I'd certainly give him a chance under Duff cos when you think back to all the crud that went on in recent years with coaches who didn't know their arses from their elbows due to circumstances beyond their control then it's no wonder that players wanted to leave for pastures new. We lost a lot of players who had things been level headed might just have wanted to stay. Let's see what happens. We may be surprised.
Can’t see him getting in with duff. Same reason as iseka. Talent in there no doubt, but doesn’t seem to have the required work ethic. I’d love to see him return and prove me wrong.
Definitely has some technical ability but not sure he has the physical attributes. When he first came in to the side (I think it was playing left back under Struber but I could be wrong), I thought he looked good. Not seen much, if anything, since then. I don’t think he’ll play for us again, unless something dramatic happens.
Too lightweight in any position I’ve seen him play. Think he’ll struggle to find another club in the football league if I’m honest.
Brilliant technical player but way too lightweight for EFL football. Not sure anyone even knows what position he is best at either. Played all over pitch and never locked down any of those. He'd be amazing at Futsal or another smaller form of the game given his technical abilities.
