It’s been a ‘bit of a mad one’ for Georgio and I up in the Scottish Isles of Lewis & Harris, but I hope you have all had tremendous Christmas holidays. Georgio has managed to ‘bag himself’ a fab acting job for the winter months which has enabled me to island hop around the Hebrides doing some fairly wild things such as otter spotting, swinging a shinty stick and harris tweed weaving. Simply wonderful. I hope to pop back to Oakwell this Monday to catch the boys play Bolton. I have occasionally managed to watch the boys on Ifollow and we seem to have some divine creative talent juxtaposed with some strapping lads who take no nonsense, like Robbie Candy. The perfect blend for a promotion team and I have no doubt we will take automatic promotion this year. Warm well wishes for 2023 george spicer
And seasonal greetings to George. So glad to hear of your Hebridian holiday. Sounds like you had quite a hoot. Didn’t you manage to do any haggis trapping? They are a bit illusive this time of year but if you were lucky enough to bag one really quite delicious when cooked over an open fire. Hope your memories of Harris and Lewis remain with you for years to come.
Hi George, there certainly has been some speculation. Olive lovers & supporters of BFC in the main. Pleased to hear you are safe & well. I noticed that there is an olive bar in Leeds market. Not a franchise?
Surely you know as well as I do that the haggis has 3 legs and there is only two of them. There's enough to there to cause an argument.
Greetings Spicer old chap, it's good to hear you're in rude health and in adventure mode. You're sorely missed my friend, like a favourite old thing kept in the family, a piece of comfortable furniture perhaps, like an old pouffe.
Long time no post old boy! Jolly glad you're still about, rather worried you might have shuffled off this mortal coil as it were. Season's greetings to you and your venerable clan.
